Sensation of glass sliver in elbows!

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? I can't rest on my elbows, not even to turn over in bed, neither can I wear denim shirts or jackets or anything that doesn't stretch, if I do and i bend my arms them I get the worst sharp pain, it literally feels like being sliced with glass. My elbows don't feel or look strange but if I press in a certain place with my fingers it's so painful! I went to my GP who's excellent advice was not to lean on my elbows . Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I posted on here previously about having gout that felt like glass in my feet, elbows, fingers...I want to give an update. For the past year and a half I've been on a pescatarian diet and my gout hasn't bothered me since. It was probably the red meat and processed meats that bothered me. Another big thing for some is alcohol. I don't drink so that wasn't a problem for me. I know others that drink alcohol and the next day they feel glass slivers in their toes and elbows.
