What would you wear to this?

In a couple of weeks I'm starting a new job. The first day will be an induction meeting key people/bosses etc. Usually the dress code is officey but for this first day it's casual and I don't know what to wear. All my casual stuff is manky old vest tops and ill fitting jeans and I want to make a good first impression! Can anyone help?

I would wear either blue or beige Capri pants or slacks and a white shirt with ballet flats and a smart jacket. Something like that. Nice jewellery

Everyone will be casual. I'm 33 and I don't want to dress too dowdily. I'm really comfy in dresses in the summer, so I was thinking of something like this:

Are they too casual? Usually I'd wear jeans, I just don't want to start off looking shit!

I'd go with the blue one myself, with some comfy shoes - espadrilles, flats, Converse, funky trainers.

Much better than your ill-fitting jeans.

Either would be fine. I'm quite tempted to buy the blue one myself.
