Sunset Boulevard - the musical. Is it ok for children?

Has anyone seen Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard?

We have the opportunity to go and see a production of this at a lovely open air theatre during the summer. I'm not sure if it is ok for children though. It would be an 8 year old and an 11 year old that we would be taking.
What do people who have seen it think?

I wouldn't think the themes appropriate for children. Murder, affairs, attempted suicide, affairs etc. Also TBH it'd be a boring musical for children.

I can't imagine kids would enjoy it very much. No outright sex, but some very adult themes, and...y'know... a bit of murder.

Oh dear. That doesn't sound very suitable. The 8 year old is pretty sensitive as well so I think we'd better skip it.
