Booking Disney Land Paris through Magic Breaks- owned by Thomas Cook

I am booking a holiday for 4 adults/2 kids to DLP today as there is a good offer on and gives me plenty of time to pay it off. I’ve been twice before and booked through magic breaks and they were fine. However I know they are owned by Thomas Cook and with th current problems they’re having I am worried if they fold my holiday will be cancelled. We aren’t due to go till next year.

I have searched for other companies and was going to use icelolly.com but when I clicked through they also use magic breaks.

Does anyone know what would happen? Or have other recommendations? The official Disneyland Paris website only lets you pay in 2 instalments so no good for me. Thanks

If you book direct with disney you can call them as often as you want and pay off as much as you want.

If TC did go bust you might lose your holiday but you would get your money back.

If you're booking your travel as well, it's a package and you would get your money back via ATOL/ABTA.

If your'e only booking the accommodation and travelling separately, pay at least £100 by credit card and you gain protection that way. We got all the money back, including the increased cost of more expensive flights booked at short notice, for flights lost when Monarch went bust 2 days before we were due to travel from our credit card.

I have spoken to them and they have said they are partners with Thomas Cook but not owned by them so if they do crash it won’t have any effect on magic breaks. The Dlp website is £200 dearer for the same holiday!

Thanks for taking the time to reply
