Rudd getting her priorities right there Hmm
When it comes to UK politics, there are so many worthy recipients of my disgust that I don't quite know where best to direct it. I have zero confidence in any UK political party but I do wonder if voting children into poverty is what people have in mind when they vote Tory. Because every Tory vote is a vote for child poverty.

Appalling, isn’t it?

Absolutely awful and shows the government have no clue - they bang on about employment but if you read the full report - section b - they show quite clearly that it is rise in work poverty. Why does the government not get that zero hour contracts and the minimum wage do not keep up with living costs?!

Rudd's response is a typical, head in the sand Tory politician response.

"No poverty isn't really happening, everything's on the up really and I'm lodging a complaint because you're report didn't back up my media sound bites".

For once the Tory party ought to listen to the charities that people now have to depend on for food and shelter, when they tell them more people are in poverty now and things are not on the up.

They do get it. They just don’t care. They are privileged and over-paid and will never have to live in poverty.
