Who's watching? How the hell did Richard Madden not get nominated for Best Actor? I really hope the documentary on Billy Whizz wins!

Agreed Elderflower

Though I couldn’t keep my eyes off his cheekbones.

They seem to be rushing through it now. I was surprised to hear Jodie Comer's accent. She seemed very nervous.

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/05/2019 22:07

I went to the same school as Jodie Comer I'm old enough to be her mother so I expected her accent. I loved her speech especially acknowledging Stephen Graham.

I loved Keeley Hawes' dress. She looked so elegant.

TheSmallClangerWhistlesAgain · 12/05/2019 22:46

Keeley Hawes misjudged the style for the night, I think. That was an Oscars dress - too poufy and a bit bride-y.

Everyone else was going for a more restrained look.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge's dress wasn't something I'd ever choose myself but it was perfect for her.

EleanorReally · 13/05/2019 01:15

So glad that Phoebe Waller Bridge gained so much recognition

FFSJustStickToIt · 13/05/2019 19:32

I think Keeley Hawes thought she was going to win best actress - her dress was amazing but it would be disappointing to go home in it not having won.

FFSJustStickToIt · 13/05/2019 19:38

Did anyone think Phoebe Waller Bridge looked like she was on something? She spoke about ten times faster than anyone else.
