It's only a small-ish one so I'm not bothered, but what the hell is it living off? There are no flies in my room.. Not even tiny ones - or moths, or anything else for that matter. For the record, I live on the 4th floor, in the middle of a busy city. There are no bugs to be seen. What the feck is he feeding himself on... Hmm

He's waiting for you to go to sleep............

He’s probably why you can’t see any bugs or flies! Good work, Incy Grin

Smaller spiders? I only evict the hamster sized ones.

There was a big one (it's body was fat) on my bedroom curtains last week. Fortunately l got it.
Last year l spent four months in the spare bedroom because l lost a spider in my bedroom....

I agree with Bunny, you don’t have any flies (even teeny tiny ones) precisely because you’ve got a spider friend 😀. Me, DH and DDs watched an epic battle between a ginormous hornet and a not particularly big (though quite hairy) spider last year. Hornet tried to dive bomb us as we went out of the door and flew straight in to the web which was on the door jamb. Utterly enthralling, Incey won that one, hurray!

I once duck taped a cupboard closed because there was a spider inside and DH was away.

I opened the door today to a bee trying to fly in. I flicked it straight back out with my hand, on instinct. Afterwards said "oh shit " at the realisation that out could've stung me or I could've hurt it.

Disclaimer: this isn't about spiders but it's my only bug related story of the day.

My mum keeps moaning about the cobwebs in my house and I am sick of telling her that I'm not getting rid of my natural fly catchers homes. She's not impressed Grin

What I want to know is why do they always have to be on my bedroom ceiling or high up on my bedroom wall above my bed? I have zero tolerance for them and they always seem to know where to congregate to get the maximum amount of screaming panic from me.
They could have the face of a dear departed loved one or even be able to speak with the voice of the same but I wouldn't be able to hear /see them for the sheer panic Confused.
