Question for Ford S Max owners (2016 onwards)

If you have a Ford S Max would you mind looking and seeing if you know the answer to two questions?

1. if you look under the seats in the middle row can you see exposed coloured wires? By exposed I mean they are insulated but there’s no cover over them so you can clearly see clusters of wires under each seat.

1. There is a sliding cover up by the handle above the windows in the middle row. Do you know what it’s for? If you slide yours back is there anything behind it? In ours there is a black circular hole with dried glue around the edge.

The cover will be an access point for roof bars I would think.

Most seats have wires underneath-they are the electronics for the seat belt exploders.

Not an S-Max owner-just knowledgeable about cars.
