So at the end, when she’s gone back in time again and she and Matt run up the stairs, then appear as adults: has she still become a magazine editor? Or is she now just “suburban housewife” because the magazine editing business was part of what made her a terrible person? Because, as far as I can tell, she fixed that by re-designing the magazine using positive female role models.
Sorry, this is a totally pointless thread, but I re-watched it this weekend for the first time since I was a teenager, and thought, “Huh? So does the ending still allow for her being a woman with a career, or is the message that that was ‘BAD’ as well?”
