What would the customs Union entail?
I've lost the plot with it all.

I know the answer but I couldn't tell you it if my life depended on it

The EU elections are normally mostly ignored in the UK. But what if there was a massive turnout this time? That's an ACTUAL vote, not a petition.

Would it make any difference?

They’re already plotting conservatives post May. Quite frankly they only chose her as a scape goat in the first place. The infighting is between probrexit neoliberals and remain Blair style soft conservatism. Just wish they’d picked a more convenient time for their little squabble.

It means we pay no customs duty on goods coming or going to the 27 member states and trade on the eu terms.

Which lets face it the eu terms are going to be way better than any terms we can negotiate ourselves, because the deals negotiated we are one of 28. Who the fuck is going to give us better terms to supply only us, v supply us and 27 other counties. It's like the discount doe a small customer v a big one,

It also means no need for a back stop in Northern Ireland, because goods can flow freely.

Thanks for that

How long can this take?? They've had years, why drag it out now. If i did this at work it would be called procrastination
