Just wanted to share. I cant stop smiling. I have just won 5k on my regular Friday Scratch Card :).

My and OH have spent it 20x over in our heads 😂

If you had an unexpected windfall of 5k what would you treat you and yours too?

Congratulations Flowers

Well done OP!

I'd get a slap up meal out this weekend, a spa day for me with overnight stay, Merlin passes, a holiday and a Xmas trip to London

Danglingmod · 22/03/2019 17:05

Congrats, OP.

£5k is nice amount of money to imaginary spend because it's not life changing but it's not nothing.

I'd probably put £3k towards a sunny holiday at Oct half term or next Christmas (summer too hot abroad for me so do UK in the summer.)

Then dh and myself £1k each. He'd spunk his on a new PA and I'd spunk mine on art, perfume and plants.

paying off each month on time doesn't exclude you from interest anyway if it's not a 0% card, but besides the point

Ermmmm, yes it does.

Congrats on your win OP, what a lovely problem to have. (Always holidays for me ...)

blamethecat · 22/03/2019 17:10

We're moving house next week so I would be dull and use it to pay the moving costs etc then book a nice holiday with the rest.
Enjoy your win OP, !

Nice to hear of a winner - does make you wonder if they actually exist

misscockerspaniel · 22/03/2019 19:25

Congratulations Wine What a lovely "problem" to have! I would spend it on a new fence.

FatKatt · 22/03/2019 19:27
