Because with my birthday money from last week, I've bought myself a drill. And a little tool bag and various tool things.

I want to teach myself DIY and general making things and having the house nice.

What an asshat. If that is the reason he's being pissy, then yes, he is BU and a knob to boot.

By the way, I built my patio with DH...we worked together on it with surprisingly few arguments. But man alive, it's hard graft!! Worth it though. YouTube has some excellent How To guides...

Build your patio, then sit on it sipping a cocktail, wearing whatever you damn well please and admire your handy work.

And Yet "We Don't Need Feminism"...

OP, I highly approve of the patio project. Grin

I brought most of the power tools and specialty saws into our marriage.

Is your P an idiot about other things too?

TheFuckfaceWhisperer · 16/03/2019 14:27

Thanks for all the encouragement! No, we’re not married, and no, it’s not extra tools, the ones we have here actually belong to his dad.

I might just buy the dress as well. And wear it whilst I’m drilling and fixing things. With a cake in the oven, just for balance Hmm

Ha! Aprons can be useful for temporary storage of drill bits...

The last birthday money I received was spent on a grout removal tool and new grout for the kitchen floor. Dh would have fainted if I’d bought makeup.

He really does sound like a grade a misogynist tosser
