Hi all

I’m Dani and my Instagram blog that I started back in January is here: www.instagram.com/mummy_to_a_britzilian

It documents me as a first time mum bringing up my little girl, Eliana, to be bilingual. My husband is Brazilian and I’m English so it should be an interesting combination of languages for her to learn 🤭

Would love for you all to check out my profile and feel free to offer me any tips :) I’m very much starting out on this journey.

Many thanks everyone! Dani xxx

Our focus is Sustainable Family Travel

We help families get the most out of their travel experiences and become more sustainable as they go, whilst exploring and sharing our own experiences as we travel the world ourselves.

Our blog is very new and we'd love it if you could spare a few minutes to check it out and let us know what you think!

Hi fellow bloggers,

Thank you, Ellie and Abby, for letting me introduce myself and my blog: bumpsnbeyond.com/.

I'm a bilingual mum of three (nearly bilingual;-)), kids. I set up this blog to give mums to be a & new mums a helping hand. When I was pregnant the first time, I was a bit overwhelmed, happy, but angsty.

I'm an overthinker and thought about everything way too much. Now my children are out of the nappy stage and are happy and confident kids, I want to share my experiences & any nuggets of wisdom I have gleaned from other parents and parenting experts (if there is such a thing...).

I have had a look at some of the other blogs mentioned, and I love the book bound (love reading!) and the breakfast blog. The recipes look delicious.
If anyone is interested in doing something together, please mail me at [email protected],
thanks

LuckyinOctober · 16/07/2020 21:02

Hello all, I've posted before but just wanted to share updated details.

My original blog website is on Wordpress at www.mummyact.com and is about pregnancy, miscarriage, parenting under 5's, infant, child and parent mental health from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion Focussed Therapy perspective.

I've just started an Instagram account as MummyAct too - www.instagram.com/mummyact

I'm using the Instagram account to show lighthearted ways to connect with our young children using mindfulness at the moment, with my baby and pre-schooler as my muses

I'm also now on Twitter as MummyACT - twitter.com/actmummy

My aim with Twitter is to support mental health awareness raising and mental health campaigning so if anyone is involved with that, particularly if about miscarriage, child or parent mental health I'd be keen to team up.

I've also now launched a second blog website - www.miscarriageact.com which will have a miscarriage only focus without the parenting content in recognition of how tricky it is if you go through recurrent miscarriage without having children to be confronted by baby images or discussion about babies and young children. My hope is that this site might be a gentler read for anyone currently going through miscarriage.

I'm now about to have a read through who else is on Instagram that I should check out!

Hi there

I never in a million years thought I'd be a blogger, especially with my grammar! I decided to join the blogging family to bridge my professional and personal world. Through the day I train foster carers and children home staff in child development, attachment and behaviour support and I love researching these topics. I then popped a couple of sons out so I have 2 toddlers. What I experienced, I wasn't offered the same amount of evidence-based research I explore with a foster carer as a parent.... so I popped out a blog- raising2children.com
anyone else found running a website technically challenging? I manage one task to realise I've added another 4 tasks to my list!
SEO - WTF!! This is where I pull my hair out. There is so much to learn, consider and do. Writing the blog posts is the easy and enjoyable part.
I would love to connect with like minded people and people who are up for a debate.
I am the one in the (twitter) playground @raising2childr1, trying to find thier place in it all.

Hi I’m holly, I’m a mum to one little lady! It was mentioned to me for months about writing a blog about our little girl, she was a very big surprise to us all as a year to the date we were told we couldn’t have children she made a surprise appearance!! People kept telling me to write my own experience down so I have done, it’s nothing like I’ve read other people’s blogs it’s very random really but feel free to have a read, send any tips or anything that you think I could write about! (I get a mental block sometimes!) xxx

tinatsarina · 03/12/2020 09:48

@HollySM just checked out your blog it looks very professional. mine is very basic lol

i think sleep deprivation is a big thing especially for first time parents as you have never really experienced it before. my second is 9 months and ive another due in April and i thought at the newborn stage i was great with lack of sleep as i knew what to expect from my first but i forgot that the 9 month sleep regression is very hard.
she's up a few times in the night and then decides at 6 in the morning that its time to get up! i think i actually got more sleep at the newborn stage lol.

Zhomby20 · 03/12/2020 22:16
