Does anyone know if it is possible for a student to obtain copies of their GCSE certificates and if so, where from? Student now 21 and at uni!

Thank you for any help! Smile

You can't get copies of the certificates but if you look in gov.vo.uk they can send you a certified certificate of results which you can use as proof of results. There will be a charge

I’m 46 and I got mine last year from the examining body I sat my GCSEs with (AQA) was fairly simple, just filled a form in online if I remember correctly.

How do you find out who you sat your GCSEs with?

Easiest way is to ask your school, exams officer will know, and will be able to give you your candidate and centre numbers - speeds other bits up.

Thankyou @tessiegirl and @AguerosAngel I will pass this on.

Would they know even if they’ve now changed to an academy? I sat my GCSEs 21 years ago.

I got mine not long ago (I'm in my forties), but it helped that I could remember the exam boards and work out which current exam board took them over.

Did they collect them from school?

Otherwise contact the school they will have records of the exams taken etc and it will be a big help
