Doing bugger all

Does anyone else feel guilty when they have a day doing very little? All I've done today is stick on some washing, empty the dishwasher and do the ironing. I did have my hair done this morning but that hardly counts as a job!

We have loads if big things to do in the house too but it will take so long to get started that I don't want the hassle just yet!

I think it's really because we're normally always on the go at the weekends (gym, shopping, jobs, etc.) that not having anything planned feels a bit odd!

DH is someone who never sits still so when I sit down he's off doing something somewhere. I then feel like I should be productive in some way even though he says it's fine for me to sit around, he just doesn't want to!

Nope. I never feel guilty for having an easy day at the weekend cause week days are hectic from the time the DC are awake. I've also gotten into the habit of not cooking on sundays. We either go for a carvery or order a Chinese.

Feeling poorly today. Well enough to get dressed, and drive DD to clubs etc, but apart from that sitting on sofa with blankets.

I nipped out to buy a baby present, otherwise today I've done fuck all. That's how it's going to stay too as I'm knackered from a 65 hour week. Takeaway and gin tonight.

I never feel guilty. Even a day off doesn’t feel like a day off because I’m chasing 4 kids around the house, but when I do get the odd day off I welcome it with open arms and no one could make me feel guilty

You have done significantly more than me today. Now I feel super super lazy 🙂

I’m totally sold on this now. I did go for an hour walk with dog, then watched two episodes of ‘place in the sun’ drank wine and DD cooked dinner. I love hearing what ppl get up to.

I've not done much today, made my bed and had a lovely relaxing bath this afternoon. Dinner was ordered in and hubby loaded the dishwasher.

I love a lazy day.
