A man was supposed to be coming and looking at my roof at 3.30... he rang at 3.45 apologising that he'd been held up but he'd come by after he left the office at five.

It's now 6.30, and too dark to see my roof... He's forgotten me, hasn't he?

Get someone else in. He seems unreliable.

Yeah, I'm not terribly impressed to be honest. I know shit happens but I booked this visit for a quote on Monday. And he's got my number, he could have rerung me if there was traffic or whatever.

“I’ll come and see you at 5pm after I’ve left the office,” actually means “I’m in the pub and will be staying here until at least 8pm.”

Foolish me! Let's hope tomorrow's appointment decides to come. He's booked for 9.30am... I hope he doesn't detour to the pub first!!!
