What size shoes does your 7 year old boy have?

Had DS' feet measured today for new school shoes, his feet barely grow! Good I'm some respects but it got me thinking - does he have really small feet for his age?!

He's crept up to 12.5 from 12 last summer, he'll be 8 not long before the end of this academic year.

Just out of interest, what size feet does your similarly aged DS have?

Ds2 was 8 last September and he’s 13.5 conversely ds1 is 10 and he’s a 3.5.

Was 7 in feb and hes a 11.5, nearly at a 12. He is a skinny runt and has slim feet too.

DD will be 6 in July and I've just had to buy her size 13 shoes.. but she has broad? feet. The top of her foot is quite high.

Turned 8 in Jan, size 1 but he's NOT tall for his age and has no tall genes so no idea why.

If I remember correctly my son's feet grew quite slowly from about 7 to 10 or so. Then rather rapidly went from 5 to 11 over a couple of years.

My feet were size 1 age 4.5 starting school; I had a friend in highschool whose feet were size 1 age 12. I think my children's feet were size 1 at 5.5-6 ish, not certain.

My tip is, don’t wish for bigger feet.
Trying to get school shoes for a wide fitting adult size 14 is not the easiest.

My 7 year old has size 1 feet. I hadn't really looked at any of his friend's feet and assumed he was quite big but reading this, maybe not.

I must look at the other boys feet for comparison!

ds1 is 7, will be 8 in june. Current in size 11E.
He is between 5-9th centile for ht and wt.

DS will be 8 later this year. Is currently size 11 (jnr). He’s very slim and quite short. Grows steadily but v slowly. His dad was apparently tiny until his mid teens.

My nearly seven year old is a 12.

DS (just 8) has adult size 5 feet but he's quite tall for his age so it's not unexpected.

DS13 has size 12 feet so I will be spending my pension on massive shoes forever.

Nit what you asked but my teeny tiny 7 year old ex preemie girls are a 1 now in 'proper' shoes - start rite / Clarks. Sainsbury's and m and s are huge and they are still an 11.

My just turned 6 yr old is size 1, but they are looking tight so probably 1.5, but he is humungous

Amazed at how big some children’s feet are! DS is nearly 7yo and a size 12.

Ds1 just turned 8 is a size 1, ds2 who is 6.5 is size 10.

Ds1 has tiny feet for ages and in the last year he has leapt up 3 sizes, ds2 seems to be following the same pattern.

Age 7, 12.5. He might be a 13.

I know you asked about boys but just to confuse you more, my DD is aged 8 and her shoe size is an adult 3-3.5... 😁 She is tall for her age, though.
