Can anyone help lost word document?

Dd has an important assignment due tonight she was working on it and took a break. It’s gone, not in her recent docs not in recover unsaved docs. She’s been working on it for days and saved it loads of times but it’s just gone. Advanced search brings up nothing. Any ideas?

She's probably already tried all of the above but there might be versions of it buried in the Temp files.

Hi all thanks for the help last night, very stressful. She didn't manage to find it unfortunately. She redid what she could, was 1000 words over which is not good seemingly, and she didn't have time to run it through the plagerism thingy, she submitted it at 11.57pm. She will email the lecturer and explain but doesn't hold out much hope of being able to redo it. It seems to be some memory thing is burnt out from what someone in work who is very techy is saying, it's the only explanation. I really appreciate you all helping.

I don't think the tutor will have much sympathy I'm afraid to say. I work in a university and that's not usually a reason for being able to redo an essay. Double and even triple saving is the way to go in future.

No Crinkle I doubt it. It was a hard lesson but a lesson nonetheless. I always tell them to email it to themselves or me but what do I know
