Just me - or common?

My friends looked at me as if I had two heads when don't ask how we got on the subject I said that my nose sometime ran when having a poo. I've since discovered that my dad's does also again don't ask

Is this a quirk in my family or is it surprisingly common?

My nose runs when i have a poo. Never knew why.

I sneeze from hunger nausea too. Apparently it's something to do with confusing signals from the vagus nerve

I have a runny nose when I eat food as well. Didn't know it had a name!
I also have this thing where if my breath catches in my throat, it irritates my nose and mouth and causes me to have a coughing and sneezing fit at the same time. Makes others laugh, frustrates me.

I get acid reflux when going for a poo

Also I have to wee as soon as I brush my teeth, sometimes too urgently. I thought I was weird until I had DS and he does the same. I make him wee before teeth or he hops around as soon as brush hits teeth. I assume it's some kind of acupressure point that we are both ultra sensitive to. DH thinks we are both odd. Please be someone else out there the same.

If I look at anything camping related i need to poo. That's even looking at them on the internet, in catalogue's or in shops.
Started from a young age, I'd only need to glance at the camping section in an Argos book and I'd need the toilet. Now even looking at camper vans on auto trader makes me go.

I sneeze if I eat mints. As in polos or extra strong mints.
