The best place to see his work is in Bristol, we're very proud of him. Were you on his site or a general art one. ? Sorry I don't know much about his London works

i've fallen down a bit of a google rabbit hole....looking up unusual places to visit in London and came across the Leake Street tunnel which fascinates me.....ended up looking at Banksy. on a website with his work on and cross referencing now on google street view

Not London, but this appeared in Edinburgh a few days ago. I'd heard the rumours he was a member of Massive Attack, no idea if it's true!

Did you see the auction? The highest bidder had the artwork shredded in front of their eyes.

I imagine him to be around 40-45. I reckon he has tattoos, a bit of a skateboardy type, wears a beanie hat.

He is probably the opposite.

It's thought his real name MIGHT be Robin Gunningham. I wonder if he does all the art himself or if he's actually a team of people/the leader of a team of people (there is speculation he has links with/is a member of Massive Attack). What I find most intriguing is that AFAIK no-one ever sees him making the art. I know he does it at night, but still.

I'm from Bristol.

A good friend of mine is a 50 yr 'children of the can' (it's an old book about the 80's/early 90's graffiti scene from which Banksy emerged, He absolutely knows who Banksy is. He's never told me though. The only thing he told me (when he was a bit pissed) was that Banksy actually appears on camera in Exit Through the Gift Shop as a customer or something (I wasn't listening too well and hadn't seen the film then).

He does the major artworks himself. However when he did something Banksy versus The Museum overnight in Bristol about 10 years ago and the Dismaland at WSM he has a team of helpers/installers. I know because my ash's friend is one. He got in ahead of trouble for telling people that he was doing it!
