How are you all spending your Sunday? Love these threads to see what everyone’s up to!

I’ve had a brisk walk in the park with Chestypup (stopped frequently by strangers wanting to pet the puppy)
Done the weekly food shop.
Now contemplating a hot bath and my new book but trapped under a snoozing pup.

Pizza and dancing on ice and call the midwife later

Just cooking tea before the school run, then chilling tonight, maybe early evening.

Had a muddy walk in the woods earlier with toddler ds, one of my friends and her toddler. Came back to ours to play for a while. DH was in town shopping & out for lunch with his brother.
DS had a nap while I did some housework.
DH took ds to softplay after his nap while I had a bath & washed my hair.
We're just watching a bit of tv now and I'm about to make steak pie, mash & veg for dinner.
I've got a bit of a cold so I think I'll take some night-nurse later and have an early night.

It’s been a lovely, lazy weekend here.

Long lie in, cooked a fry up, had a nap, chilled with DH. Now snuggled up watching Vikings with DH and the cats, blowing a gale outside.

Need to make dinner (going to do a roast but with sausages instead) and then have a shower & wash hair for a work trip tomorrow.

Been at a kids party all afternoon at a soft play centre. It was manic and noisy! I'm so glad to be home!! The DC now playing / eating party bag sweets, heating is on and I'm finally getting a cup of tea and sitting on the sofa.

Prepped salad
Shower and make up
Online banking for month
Googled lots of nonsense
Changed a fuse in my car which was causing alarm to keep going off
Still ironing to do and stuff to read before work tomorrow.

Lazy day. Cleaned house this morning. DH and DS at a party just now while DD naps on me and I'm watching some trashy tv. Chinese later. DS will want to play Fortnite as soon as he is home! Early night probably.

Was awake half the night with poorly DD, so got up a lot earlier than I wished, played with her, woke other DD up, went to church with DD1, nearly blew away in the gale on the way home, made lunch, watched some films with DDs, tidied kitchen, wrapped DH's birthday presents for tomorrow, while DH apparently fell asleep and had a bath. He has now rushed to supermarket before it closes to get something for dinner, as we had been going to in-laws for dinner but didn't want to inflict ill DD on them. I have to do spelling practice with DD1, make dinner, get DDs bathed and in bed, make DD1's packed lunch for tomorrow, tidy up and hope DD2 lets me sleep tonight.

It's wettish cold here.
So I've done some scanning (again), made a few granny squares, did one load of washing, made oven vegetables & potatoes.
I still have to read an introduction to the reform of public procurement law and make a bunch of brownies.
DH has to prepare a symposion, DS does nothing as usual, DD is wrestling with Dürenmatt's "Besuch der alten Dame" and feminism.

Drove quite a long way round the M25, saw friends, then drove quite a long way back round the M25 again.

Am now watching Chelsea v Sheffield Weds on the telly - not my choice of programme but DH's - but since he vacuumed the whole house while I was out and he is now cooking dinner, I'll let him off

Housework, kids homework, 5k walk with friends and dogs, mumsnet

Slept in this morning as had a headache...should have been up before 9am to take DS to junior parkrun.
Helped DH sort his office out and did a tip run, took some bits to our storage unit and popped to Homebase to get a car vac.
Cooked a simple dinner of sausage and caramalised onion baps.

Need to sort out all the washing that i've done this weekend and make sure everyone has clean clothes for the week as we are away to the Isle of Man on Wednesday for DH's Grandfathers funeral.

The laundry is hung up to dry.
400g of palm oil free dark chocolate and 250g of butter are melting over hot water.
And the book on procurement law stares at me reproachingly ....

Last day of first overseas holiday with kids here, so mostly been by a pool in the Canaries. We travel back tomorrow so that won't be quite as relaxing 😂

Slept in
Meeting at 12.30
Lunch out in a pub with friends until 7pm
Dh and ds have gone to watch Schindlers List
Ds2 and I are playing fortnite and Mumsnet

I was quite tired this afternoon but we went for a walk with the dog. I cooked dinner and did a good sort out for tomorrow ironed uniforms. Etc
Watching call the midwife with a mug of milk.. will have a glass of wine later.

I watched ds1 play football whilst dh watched ds2 play rugby - it was freezing cold but ds1 won and ds2 scored 3 tries so all good.
Then came home to thaw, went food shopping, did a bit of school work and booked our summer holiday!
Had a roast for dinner now I’m a bit sad that it’s got so late so quickly. Bit of telly then it’ll be bedtime.
