What colour winter coat goes with everything?

What colour winter coat would you say to go with everything?

I have a lot of black coats but I also have a forest green coat that I wear surprisingly often

Depends on what colours you normally wear.

Red works for me. I wear lots of green, teal, brown, red, blue, some black.

I have lots of coats but an elderly dark purple one goes with most things. Some people look ace in beige/neutral, though it makes me look like a potato.

I've got a really nice petrol blue one that goes with everything

I had a winter white coat the other year, it went with almost everything apart from pure white. Which I don't wear, so that wasn't a problem!

my winter jacket is burgundy and being as i wear jeans and black boots to and from work it looks ace its velvet and was from matalan

Dark black-green!

Grey

Khaki.

I've just ditched my black one after I was nearly run over by a Prius with its headlights off. I didn't hear him and he didn't see me. My new one is cream, its ok but shows every speck of dirt.

Shocking pink. It's a neutral, believe it or not.

Leopard print. But I am a manics fan so believe leopard is the only acceptable colour for a coat.

I’ve got a bright pink one and everyone likes it!

I've got a cream and red cross-hatched one from Coast that goes with everything - I don't wear pink/pastels in Winter so it goes with most things.

Charcoal is the most versatile coat colour in my experience

Navy here.

I can’t think of a colour that grey wouldn’t go with.
Navy is good with everything except black.
Purple and burgundy are good with everything except bright red.
Dark green not good with red (elf) or brown (Robin Hood)
Grey, on balance.

Camel. Looks classy on most people as long as you get the right shade and it doesn’t wash you out.

Bright pink for me too. The only thing I don't wear it with is a purple dress

White or off white. Like handbags, white goes with everything but gets grubby easily.

I had navy last year and it went with a lot, but not as much as i thought it would. Wasn't keen on it with chocolate brown. My favorite boots are brown.

I just got a lovely khaki one from regatta, it was £40 instead of £100 in the sale don't know if the same is still on, I've honestly never had a coat as warm and wind proof it's delightful.
