... all these renamed months??
Veganuary, Movember, Dry January, ( not renamed, but you know what I mean)
I'm sure there's more but I don't want to annoy myself by thinking of them.

I get that some are for charity, and I'm all for that, but must you really change the months name? Can't you just say "I'm growing a mustache for a month for charity" if anyone asks? Or " I'm trialling being a vegan for a month"

I don't know why it annoys me so much but it does! Anyone else??

^So you're doing Ginuary then, ipswichwitch.

Boom boom.^

😂 ok ok, I’ll make the exception just this once mind!

ipswichwitch · 08/01/2019 22:14

Although if I go for Shahs plan for different alcoholic drinks each month it’s probably best I don’t attempt shaving and embrace Januhairy or I might lose something important!

RussellSprout · 08/01/2019 22:17

The worst one I saw was yeswecanuary for a Jan diet club or something

Fantastic suggestions. I want to do them all.

Mocktober - 31 days of ripping the piss out of everyone you know?

See these funny ones I can just about tolerate, the "proper real" ones infuriate me.

Hate movember. Is that one even for charity? Every year in November DH says he's doing it BUT HE HAS A FULL BEARD AND TACHE ALL YEAR ROUND. I know he's just winding me up (and it works).

My (possibly functioning alcoholic) friend does dry January every year, feels so much better, then proceeds to drink heavily the rest of the year. It's depressing. And everyone else doing dry January is just smug.

Januhairy is the worst yet. Even when I was in my 20s I didn't bother with shaving once it was tights weather.
