DH has just told me he’d like another for his birthday. I wish one of us had had that idea a month ago when they were £50-odd but now they’re back up to £90, which is a touch irritating.

Do I have any chance of saving on this anytime soon and if so, how? Expecting to accept I just need to lump the extra £40 grumbles.

Second hand.

And the Dot won’t do because he wants the better sound quality.

Would have a look but won’t that potentially make any warranty difficult?

I think they go on sale regularly. But no idea when next sale would be.

Could you check a price tracker website and see if there's a pattern?

LookImAHooman · 02/01/2019 22:30

Ooooh, that’s a brilliant idea. Thanks!

Look for a second hand one? There must be lots like me who bought one for Christmas and found it a useless waste of money, it's gone back in the box.

For price tracking

Can be VERY enlightening on pricing

My link isn’t working you I dare say you’ll manage to copy type

Reckon they will go down again but I would also look at Amazon Warehouse deals for returns. They are v good for £50 or £90 in fairness.

LookImAHooman · 02/01/2019 23:02

ShouldRead annoyingly there are quite a few on Facebook marketplace, including several brand new, but none anywhere near us. eBay has them at £75, which isn’t too bad.

Think I’ll give Binary’s link a go for a couple of weeks - thanks for that.
