I feel a bit boring, no plans apart from nipping to shop at some point to grab some bits for tonight. It’ll just be DH and I this evening and an early night as I’m on call tomorrow. Anyone else as dull as I am?

Dh has gone away for work until Friday. I'm going to take the DC's for a walk in the woods soon then we are going to the cinema this afternoon.

I was pissed off that I’m having to work until 4 but it means DH is running around tidying/cleaning and shopping for our hogmany party tonight.

Its 600am here, I am just finished breakfast.
Today we need to do a final shop for the party tonight, make Mississippi mud for the dessert, finish a last bit of a tidy round. I need to set up the spare beds for guests that crash over.
I will get going on that stuff when I get back from the beach this morning. I pick seaglass every day, so that has to come first

Dd is working, coming home then going out to the Edinburgh Hogmanay party.

Ds will be home all night.

Dh is on call and if Christmas Eve is to go by, won't be home early.

I'll be in bed!

No actual plans today - I’ve been lazing in bed reading all morning.
We might go for a walk somewhere to try and blow Dh’s lurgy germs away as we’re at friends’ tonight for NYE dinner. I’m more in the mood for a hot bath and early night tbh but it will be nice when we get there.

Going to shops soon to do a mini food shop and will probably stop off at the park with DD on the way back so she can run off some energy. Will probably just have a quiet afternoon watching some films with DD which will suit us both as we are getting festive fatigued!

Will let DD stay up a bit later tonight and then planning to watch Mama Mia 2 with a yummy Chinese for dinner.

We are on holiday at a cottage just outside York with our extended family so shopping/exploring, nice light lunch somewhere and then back to put our (matching) loungers on, chinese food, card games and booze.

Been on the phone all morning with some debt management people and social security people as someone has taken out an £800 loan in my name- now they're not giving me my UC for this month as apparently I'm 'in debt'.

Some stupid fuck gets £800 in my name, fucks up my credit rating and now stops me from being paid what I'm entitled too.

I'm 19. I don't live with my parents and have to pay rent on the 6th. I'm screwed.🤦🏻‍♀️

Waiting for a call back from some higher up people who are investigating it atm...

Festive fatigue is such a good expression and exactly how I feel right now.

Dh is taking the three youngest kids out for a good run in the park and some lunch with his dad.
I need to do some ironing and have a quick tidy round, after that I'm going to have a bath in peace and a bit of a pamper.
We are going to a friends house for NYE with two other couples between us we have 15 kids so in for a noisy night!

Nursing a thundering hangover because I drank loads of rum last night because I found out my grandad died yesterday

And doing a top notch job of not crying because if I start I won't stop and I can't be a soggy mess in front of dc

Home with the baby today, think we might just have a pyjama day and spend it playing and pottering around doing a bit of tidying. Tonight partner and I are getting a takeaway and watching Big Fat Quiz of the Year

I am briefly leaving the house for an appointment and to pick up a board game. I am not much of a fan of New Year's Eve and find myself grumbling and moaning through it and my DH loves it. So this year I said it could be his day to organise and plan. So he decided what we are doing and eating and has shopped and is cooking (just buffet chicken wings, sausages etc)
So we are having board games and bringing the PlayStation down and food drink and Jools on the TV. I am already enjoying the day more

Try to survive the day looking after a very speedy 10 month old while suffering from severe vertigo and vomiting everytime I walk

Bake a lemon tart and a back forest roulade for tonight

Having a NYE party for 20 at 8pm.

Sitting in the sun in Marrakesh drinking a sangria- sorry. Lunch then swim then lots of free booze followed by more food. Lifes a ***. We normally do boring stuff promise.

Working

Fake christmas dinner as we went inlaws for dinner last minute and have all the trimmings and crackers.
Hosting a NYE pj party tonight so cleaning and preparing the buffet.
I will try and get to the gym too as I feel like a lump.

DP is working so once he goes, I'm going to give the house a right good tidy top to bottom. Then probably walk the dog, have a hot bath and get the wine open while I cook dinner quiet night in tonight. Doesn't feel like NYE at all. In fact, I totally forgot until DP reminded me yesterday!

Taking down the Christmas decorations and giving the house a good hoovering. Dh is sanding and painting the bannisters.
We will go and check dpony is upright, walk the dogs, drop dd off at a friend's for a NYE sleepover. Ds will take himself off to his NYE party at some point.
Dh and I will have nibbly food, play board games, watch the fireworks on tv and head to bed just gone midnight.

Just started the process of being induced but very jealous of all your lovely sounding parties!

Unexpected day off today so doing all the housework I would have been doing tomorrow, bit sad though as its my last day working for them and I don't get chance to say bye to some of them before starting my new job on the second, tonight will be nibbles and a few bottles of something cold as we have the dsd tonight

Lounging around in the day and we are treating the DC to subway for lunch and then tonight will be party clothes,food,drinks,music and watching the fireworks.

Surfing this afternoon, cooking a big dinner, Netflix marathon and early night.

I'm not being virtuous I just psychically cannot do any more drinking these holidays!!
