I have been desperately trying to find a film for years - I watched it years ago and it really stuck with me but I can't find it
There is a family, one night the teenage (I think?) daughter is late home - parents find out she has been raped/killed. There is a scene with her white hair bow found on a bush and pleasure at the playground or karma chameleon is playing (both of those songs make me shudder since the film but I can't remember which is in this scene)
The mum really struggles, goes to a support group I think? Eventually ends up getting a gun and pulling it on the guy in a restaurant or canteen place if i remember correctly
Anyone?! It's not the sally fields/kiefer Sutherland one that is similar ish
