Does anyone Bullet Journal?

I really want to start and think it’s a system which will work for me but I just feel slightly overwhelmed by it all!

Interested to hear from those who do and to find out how it works for you.

I’ve been doing this for years. I have an a4 notebook. In it I write “to do” lists, reminders, and shopping lists. Am I a bujoer??? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh, and I doodle in it too when I am thinking.... 😂

I have been doing my version of this for years. I think lots of people have, but none of us were the ones that thought to give it a name and ‘make a thing’ of it.

Obviously everyone can ‘do their own thing’ but there does become a point where what you’re doing is so far from the original that it’s quite a stretch to call it that thing.

My problem is I want it to be ‘everything rolled into one’ without it being the size of a house or only lasting 5 minutes.

I’m not sure what form 2019’s is going to take.

I came to bullet journals after a flirtation with Evernote and an attempt to organise myself that ended up more complicated than ever. I have never needed more than one leuchtturm a5 book a year, and don’t find it too hard to fit in my bag (must be a big bag!!) but do also put the odd stuff into my phone for on the go. I am not arty, but do use different pens when I can find them.
I think being sequential and having an index are the main parts of it for me, but others will think differently.
