Switching off over Xmas. What to actually do?

I am thinking about less social media, less pointless time on my phone and more relaxing in a bit more of a meaningful way.

So far I have

  • pile of books to read
  • put phone down while watching telly
  • do a jigsaw
  • find some interesting new websites to look at not just mumsnet and BBC news.

Anyone help with my last point or have any other good ideas for extreme relaxation?

For me it’s about reconnecting with my DH and DS 9. We’re all so busy during the week and weekends are often spent with others we do miss out on genuine quality time. I want to eat all our meals together, lots of fresh air, play board games, enjoy films...together, snuggle on the sofa. Yes to less phone time.

Hoping the weather is dry to get a couple of nice long walks in over Christmas.
