New car suggestions. What do you drive?

Looking for a new car and having a little trouble deciding. 4 dcs but one is an adult at uni the next is almost. Like gimmicky tech gadgets. What do you drive and what would you recommend or advise against?

I drive a four-year-old Passat, which I’m told is quite comfortable for adult passengers in the back (still only five seats in total, though). DAB, nav and front-seat arse-warming capabilities, which are all important to me.

I secretly covet my BiL’s Volvo V60, which does slightly better in the bells-and-whistles department (despite being, basically, a Ford Focus with Scandiweigian pretentions).

I have a kia stonic I really like the driving position it's not a sporty feel at all but it does have plenty of go and punch and I think plenty of space and it has plenty of toys if you go for level 1
