I’m 47 and in urgent need of sorting out my face!!
Is the Protect and Perfect range any good?

I use the lift and luminaire serum daily and I really like it, don’t like the creams though, they feel too heavy and I’m sure there’s a shimmer in the day cream. I did buy the line eraser serum which I thought was rubbish until I ran out of my usual serum and used it all over my face rather than small areas and it was really good- way way too expensive to use like that regularly though.

I’ve used it and it’s very good.... just too expensive to keep buying every 2 months or so.
You could consider astral cream ? I had tried all the creams under the sun.
I bought a small tub of astral to try as I’d tried Nivea etc
It’s been amazing for my face, very moisturised , good under makeup and the bonus is it’s improved my excema on my hands and feet too. It’s really cheap too, savers or Superdrug do big tubs of it for £3.99.
Can’t sing it’s praises enough.

It didn't agree with my skin either. Someone bought me the gift box and I gave it all away, bar the one thing I had opened.

Another one here that’s also allergic to it!

I know use The Ordinary skin care range which is very reasonable and suits my skin.

Am I the only person who never notices any difference in my skin when I try different skincare products?

Oliversmumsarmy · 16/12/2018 11:24

I have tried Ordinary but I am old and need something with a bit of oomph to it

Badmoonsarising · 16/12/2018 11:34

Brought me out in pimplrs/hives which took a long long time to go, think i still have the marks - and to think i paid a lot of money for it.

If it helps anyone. I have just returned my No7 to Boots.

I didn't have a receipt and I had some that were unopened. They wanted at first for me to swap for other No7 products but because I had an allergy to the stuff I got some Benefit cream.

Went to the Clarins counter initially to see if their products contained it and was told in no uncertain terms that I couldn't have an allergy to hylauronic acid. It was not possible.

Afterwards in Body Shop someone made a loud comment about how I look.

I know I don't look English and am not exactly great looking. (Fat and 60) but I wish people would keep the comments and looks to themselves.

And people wonder why I hate shopping
