Who else has been Wham'ed!?

Anyone else playing Whamagedon? For anyone who doesn't know, you have to get as close to Christmas Day as possible m, without hearing Wham Last Christmas. (covers are acceptable!)
I got wham'ed by someone who knew I was still in, so played it to me on his mobile....
Anyone still in?

I was Whammed on December the 3rd, at my knitting group. I barely made it into December.

Absolute Radio aren't plsying Christmas stuff so I stick to them in the car. I did survive a dsy of shopping in a big city last weekend without being Whammed

Well I thought I’d got Wham’d on Sunday, but it was a girl singing it at an event. Does that not count?

Btw I just lost the game though.

I made it until 8th Dec, then Radio 2 got me. I've always kind of played this game in my head every year anyway, it's not Christmas until you hear Wham!

Didn't know this was a thing but I'm still in....

Very conscience as for years the official start of my Christmas was hearing Last Christmas in a shop but that was when I still went in shops...damn internet

I haven't heard it yet,but the boyfriend came home today with some white tshirts that had various pop stars on them, god knows where he got them from, and anyway one was a picture of wham and the words "last christmas" so not sure if I'm in or out now Grin

It was on at school today as we were making stuff for the Christmas fair.

As an aside, I only realised that GM’s Yuletide chums weren’t hippies a few year ago when I read the lyrics- ‘friends with tired eyes’.

After many years of imagining them all in tie-dyes...

I'm out today - thanks radio 2. The only reason I was still in 'til today is that I've been abroad 'til yesterday - so really I lasted less than 24 hours.

Not heard it on 6 music, yet. I'd say I should probably avoid the local coop but coop. Radio is surprisingly hardcore!

I was out on Monday - cut through shopping centre on my way home and it started just as I was going out the door. If only I’d walked the long way home! Curse my laziness.
