Where are all the bright multi coloured lights?

I drove along a long, nice street in Edinburgh tonight in slow moving traffic.

This gave me the chance to look at all the windows - and house after house hard lovely big trees with white lights only.

Is this reflective of this year’s fashion or simply posh Edinburgh?

White's nicer although I do have coloured ones on a tree outside. Inside it's warm white all the way.

See I think it’s gone the other way. A few years ago it was all white lights but seen loads of colour ones this year.

I have white on the tree and multicoloured round the window. I also have snowflake stickers on the window, tinsel on the tree, ceiling decorations and santa faces, snowmen and stockings on the wall. It's very tacky

Lots of colours around me

I wanted to buy some new lights this year and they were all white. I don't want tasteful and fashionable I want blingy proper Christmas lights. Blue are my favourite akin to toilet brushes on MN

There ar eno red lights this year. We always have red lights. A couple of our sets have died and everything in the shops is cold white, blue, green or at best warm white.
I saw one multi-coloured set for sale in Clas Ohlsen but it was mainly cold colours with the occasional red chucked in. No yellows or oranges or pinks.

Sunshine - outrageous, But you must have lots of choice. Can't move for chilly blue lights round here.

Edinburgh’s classy.

Had enough of white. Bought a 300 bulb multi-coloured set from John Lewis. It has made me the DC very happy.

Ive always had coloured lights...white are so dull

I bought a new set this year and we are just about getting used to the brightness
