What's everyone doing this Sunday evening?

My dp has been working on his car all day and has only just come in. He's tired and grouchy and I feel grouchy cause I've been bored all day! What does everyone do when their dp is busy for the day?

Mostly Mumsnet and Instagram. Probably a bit of Netflix when that gets too tiring.

That's exactly what I've been doing all day lol

I have been writing an essay and am bored with it. DD is building a HP lego set and we are watching a HP DVD for the 100th time.

Trying to order stuff from John Lewis but the site is having issues.

Watching Celebrity Catchphrase.

Haven't stopped all weekend, got to think about school and work tomorrow.

I took the DC for a pub lunch with my sister and cousins this afternoon. We chilled out this evening, sandwiches for supper. They're in bed now and I'm on the sofa under a blanket and kittens, eating a kinder bueno. It could be worse. DH will probably be home in about 90 minutes.

Watching Die Hard for the 40 millionth time and quoting the best lines from it

Approaching first Christmas alone after DH left a few months ago. Two hour walk with the dog, then cleaned the chickens out and dropped DS 16 at gf house. Went and got tree with DD 19, decorated house (including outside lights ), made first batch of mince pies and listened to Spotify Christmas music playlist. Now watching 6th Harry Potter film on dvd together drinking a Baileys with the fire on. Not a bad Sunday considering.

Went on a drive round locally looking at all the Xmas lights up on people’s houses (people really go for it round here) after spending the afternoon putting the tree up.

Got DS in bed now watching I’m a celeb eating bread and butter pudding and ice cream.

Currently avoiding looking at the TV screen because DH is watching I'm a Celebrity and I can't abide creepy crawlies so watching someone have them put inside a face mask is not something I want to see.

I have written Christmas cards and put the tree up this afternoon/evening.

DH and I have eaten the roast pork dinner I made. Washing up done. Sticky toffee pudding eaten with fresh brewed coffee.

Now watching a recorded t.v. show about an ill fated eighteenth century mission to the arctic, 'Hunt for the Arctic Ghost Ship.'

Hot bubble bath with a face mask and a DIY mani and pedi in between forkfulls of homemade carrot cake.

Trying not to panic or cry about work tomorrow. Have been off on annual leave since last Monday, and had a bit of a breakdown and cried then and have been worrying about it since.
Have been adulting this evening though. Have applied for DD's school place for next year, done some online banking (which was slightly terrifying as it revealed my bank balance.
Should probably go and clean up the kitchen now before it is time to get ready for bed or before DD wakes up and cries for me to lie in her bed.

Tree up this afternoon and then out for a lovely early dinner with DF, DM, DH & DC's for DM's birthday. Now home doing a bit of online Christmas shopping, on here & eating chocolate with I'm a celeb in the background.

DH in bed already and I still feel grim after a brilliant night out with friends last night. Potent vodka cocktails do not agree with me!

Made a Christmas cake with dd1 this morning and went for a nice walk with the dog while it was cooking. Really looking forward to doing the tree this afternoon until dh decided that the living room needed a spring clean before the tree went up.

The dds have now gone to bed massively disappointed that dh has spent the entire afternoon fucking faffing about and the tree isn’t even out of the attic. I am sulking. I’m not allowed to go up and get it because the floor isn’t safe and only dh knows where to put his feet. Give me strength.

Baked 2 kg of cookies and then prevented a hot baking tray full of hazlenut cookies from sliding down using my bare hand. Now I'm sitting here cooling my fingers - no cookies were harmed in the event.
DH is doing his share of baking (Hildas).
Dcat is banned from the baking area and feels hard done by.

Travelling home, after meeting up with Facebook group members I had never met before.

Don't worry. We met up in a pub in a very public place....😊

Have five 10-year-olds coming round tomorrow after school and i’m Attempting to do a mini Christmas party with slime making and gingerbread decorating and crackers so headed out for supplies with DD 10 then round to our friend’s for a lovely roast tea. Some lovely days on here, like the sounds of yours especially FVFrog, don’t be missing that ex!

DH is catching up with the snooker on TV. I'm listening to my iPod and knitting the left arm of a jumper I started a few months ago. Not looking forward to going to work tomorrow, partly because I hate my job and partly because I spent yesterday in bed with a migraine so feel a bit cheated.

Have spent the evening doing my nails whist DH was drawing knife designs :/...he’s hoping to do it a living (making chef knives from scratch) I get so bored when he’s always knife this or knife that but it could be worse I suppose 🙈 cuddled up on the sofa now...xx

Have been working on an essay. It's almost done.

Spent the whole day packing, cleaning the house and took the car to hover clean and wash it, emptied the washing basket so there's nothing to wash for coming home, just got into bed, everyone else is sleeping, waiting for the washing machine to finish to hang up the last load. Not the best Sunday ever bit tomorrow is holiday time! 😊

Trying to complete paperwork for a job I'm starting. Trying not to worry about the busy week I have. But am kinda worried as not feeling well but some things I'll just have to 'get on with' and 'keep calm'.

Had a nice day. Lie in, dog walk, went to choose the tree, mulled wine in a lovely old country pub which was all twinkly for Christmas. Home, bike ride, put up tree, watched Christmas Chronicles then David Attenborough.

In denial about work tomorrow.
