Do you tell the friend who invited you the truth, which is you don't support MLM's and won't ever attend a party or buy anything from them...or just say you're busy that night?!

Oh god. Arbonne...... There is a mum at school who is selling this. It is impossible to have a conversation without her recommending something. Mention you are tired, she has a fizz stick for that. Mention the humidity is making your hair crazy, she has a product for that. Ad infinitum. I now avoid her as much as possible.

I love whenever a MLM thread pops up on here! I know there’s always one running in one of the other boards, but they all talk about various bots but with code names and I’ve got no idea who they are so it goes over my head.
I basically assume any product being sold by someone who isn’t actually sat in a shop is part of MLM. One of my sister’s friends is into it and she added me into her FB group three times before she gave up - really irritates me that people can just add you!

Okay, I went to friend's norwex party. It was a bit odd but was fun because of who was there. I'm a bit concerned as I liked the products. I like the idea of removing makeup without chemicals. Did I break mn rules by buying something?

I hold out hope for a brainwashed friend.

When she asked me to go to her party I was a tad blunt:

No. I don't support pyramid selling rip off. But I will be here for you, when you see the light.

4 years and counting. I know she has thousands invested and is chasing break even, let alone profit. Sad thing is she has a number of good friends who would all chip in to bail her out. But she bombs us out if we broach the subject.

Tropic do try to recruit. I have a couple of friends who do it and they often post about the benefits of joining them and travelling the world when you get to a certain level.

I have a friend who is a highly qualified professional and who has a well paid, part time job.

She also does Bodyshop and Home and has set up her own facebook group. She keeps adding me. I keep leaving. She hasn't taken the hint yet.
