Facebook help! Logged out and can't get back in

Help needed -

Facebook decided to log me out today for some unknown reason, I can't remember my password, I have attempted password reset by requesting a code sent to my email, facebook then says a code has been sent to my email (email address is correct) but nothing arrives.

Help!

Ooo, mine just did that on my phone (I deleted the app and just was going on it on safari) And I've no idea of my password either!
Might reset the password on my laptop in that case, possible hackers?

Facebook has also logged me out on my iPhone, it said my session has expired. I put in my password and it won't accept it.

My son had the same session expired on the messenger app. (He deleted Facebook)

Weirdly it works fine on my iPad.

Can the code emails take ages to arrive?

Just posted another thread. I think it might be down. I couldn't log in on safari on iPad, the app is ok, but I tried changing my password just in case, and it's not working.

Is there a problem with Facebook today?

I've got exactly the same problem!

I got my code 5 minutes later and it was still errors all over the shop when trying to change password. I looks like an issue at their end.

Checked twitter, looks like Facebook is messed up - lots of people saying they are logged out and can't get back in

Mine's logged me out and I can't get back in, think its an issue with facebook

same for me, I've asked it to send me codes to my email and mobile, nothing.

I've just read on another page that loads of people are having the same problem. God, I hope I haven't just given my password to some hacker.

Just happened to me too, I thought I must have clicked on log out by mistake

It's possible to generate some codes for Facebook in advance for times when your phone (SMS) might be out of range.

This happened to me just now. It took about five goes to get a reset code.

I'm back in but keep repeatedly having to log in and formatting is all to hell. Think I'll give it a swerve for the minute while they sort it out.

It logged me out too, but I just typed in my email and password as usual, and got straight back in.
Didn't know about the attack thing!
