I’m doing a little get together for some friends and their dc. Sent a text out on Sunday inviting them. I’m really short on spare time (who isn’t!) so suggested Xmas eve, just for an hour or so in the morning which leaves the rest of the day free.

One of the friends is notoriously flakey. She’s read the text but no reply. Everyone else has responded. It’s all dependant in her,if she can’t make it then I’ll rearrange but then it effects which days I’m free to meet other family and friends.

I’m working up until the 23rd so I’d like to get organised. Is it too early to ask for a reply?

No of course not, just text them and say you need to know numbers. X

If everyone else can make it on that day then Have your get together that day regardless of whether she can attend. You will find it very difficult to get a day and time suits everyone.

I would chase the invite but dont rearrange it if she cant make it.If it suits everyone else just go ahead with it.

It is reliant on her unfortunately (won’t go into detail as to why).
