Would you get this checked?

Need you to tell me I’m being daft!

I’ve been fine all day, travelling for work so a little overtired but that’s it.

In the last hour I’m suddenly in pain all down my left shoulder and arm. I can’t get comfortable and it’s like a radiating pain alwaysa aching but gets worse then better then worse.

My arm feel different from the other, sort of numb and pins and needles. I’ve also got a little lower back pain and down my left leg but not so bad as the arm.

I’m breathing fine but do feel a little tight, though I have asthma so I recognise that as a symptom of focusing on your breathing too much when it’s actually fine (those with asthma will understand the feeling).

Home alone with 3 kids so don’t want to call the OOO.

I’m being daft right and should just sleep and if it’s bad in the morning go get checked? It’s probably a muscle thing exacerbated by “middle of the night” and “Dr Google” syndrome.

Hope you are ok x

EducatingSweary · 28/11/2018 04:59

hope you're getting tge medical help you need. your mum will be fine about it all, just focus on getting better.

TheSerenDipitY · 28/11/2018 05:10

would they be pissed off if you just you know died? cause that is the possible other option... its better to be safe and annoy them than think ill be fine and have you kids wake up to a dead mummy

Goodness hope you're ok op ❤️

I hope you’re ok. I’m sure your mums response was just because no one likes going out in the middle of the night. I bet once she actually got over the initial irritation she was worried for you and embarrassed at her initial reaction.

11OrangeApple · 28/11/2018 06:35

How are you getting on OP?

SBDB · 28/11/2018 06:49

I hope you are ok and your mum realises she is being rude. Unless you have form for calling out in the middle of the night and taking yourself needlessly off to the hospital then she is being incredibly rude.

Fingers crossed for you that you are fine x

Hey sorry, I’m ok, I did go inDrs took my blood pressure and said it’s probably just trapped nerves and my asthma playing up. To come back in if the pain keeps up for another 3 days or becomes constant. I’ve had a bad year and feel like I’ve probably been over anxious. My mum was ok and my dad took me in, feel guilty Sad

Good news that it wasn't anything serious. But better safe than sorry. It might be worth seeing your GP about your anxiety? Flowers

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 28/11/2018 09:56

Please don't feel guilty! It was the responsible thing to do. Go a bit easier on yourself OP. Brew Flowers
