I am having a day off from life today because I'm feeling really crappy (bad anxiety/depression).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a TV binge? No preference on genre but nothing that I need to really concentrate too hard on.

Thank you Mumsnetters Smile

Line of duty
Rake
The Crown
100 Streets
The Sinner

Call my agent
Happy Valley (though not very happy)

Rake and Call my agent are the comedy ones there, everything else is serious

I also love Designated Survivor on Netflix. A bit cheesy but very entertaining and easy to follow.

I loved Designated Survivor! Yes, a bit cheesy and I only watched the first series but it was so good, easy viewing!

I have just finished watching the second series of The Sinner which I thought was brilliant. I actually thought it was better than the first series, and you don't need to have watched the first one to following the second iyswim.

I loved season 1 of The Sinner, season 2 is next on my list so glad to see people saying it's even better.

Big Bang Theory if you've never watched it.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 27/11/2018 10:12

All the series of The Originals are on Netflix now. Fun to watch, not to hard on the brain.
If you like awful films with very funny commentary, Netflix have the Mystery Science Theatre 2000 reboot as well. I found this when sick with the flu and boy did it cheer me up! I have a new found love of truly terrible films now.
