Unexpected pregnancy

Help... I've just found out I'm pregnant. I'm a student in my final year of uni and I've been with my partner for several years but I don't think we are in a good position to have a baby.
I know that strangers on the internet can't really help me but I guess I'm late night panicking and I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance... I can't believe this has happened

I think just talking things through will help give you perspective.
With the job, if you do go ahead with the pregnancy, I think I'd be inclined not to mention it and just ask if you can delay or defer. Run this past the counsellor. They will probably have experience of this kind of situation and will be better placed to advise.

Easier to study when the baby is inside you than once it is born so do everything you can to get everything under your belt before he/she arrives - I say this from writing my dissertation with a newborn (I graduate next week and she’s 7m old!). Talk to your tutor, let them know what’s going on and ask for help when you need it (you will get tired / sick / slower!). Good luck!

Oh and swat up on your maternity rights with regard to the job.

Just wanted to pop back and thank you all for your support. We've done a lot of sole searching this weekend and we have spoken to several different people to get the facts, etc.
We've made a decision that we feel is best for us.
Thanks and have a good week!
