Laminated signs, bin or recycle?

Plastic covered paper signs, I am assuming they can't be put in the recycling, but don't want to send to landfill if they can go in the recycling, does anyone know please?

To be honest our Council is not great at letting people know what can be recycled with regard to types of plastic anyway, we just get a leaflet with pictures of milk bottles, yogurt pots and not a lot else, no indication of what type of plastic.

I doubt they can be recycled, but I'd put them in the recycling anyway, just in case.

I thought that but then wondered if it would contaminate the entire load and it would all go to landfill although my neighbour puts all manner of stuff in hers anyway.

Sadly I think I may have to bin it all, can't see how the paper could be removed anyway but it was just a thought.
