Many many moons ago, when all this were nout but fields a MNer shared a recipe for a cheesey bnb pudding.
It was lovely, but I forgot about it up until around half an hour ago.
I would really like to make it again, I think it was posted by a Panda, or possibly a Vicar and was probably around 7ish years ago.
I don’t suppose one of you clever googley advanced searchy types could help me have a look for it could you ? Pretty please.
I have gin....Gin

I make one for breakfast on Christmas Day with onions, peppers, bacon and cheese. Tis delicious

I loosely followed this recipe (as I'd never made it before) but I used thick sliced whoewheat bread and added an extra egg (ours were very small) and a bit more milk. Also extra mustard powder.

I'm genuinely shocked that I have never eaten one of these. I will rectify this ridiculous situation tomorrow.

Ooooh - I remember this - I think I made it, when I saw it on here - and I am going to make it for tomorrow’s dinner - so thank you for reminding me, OP!

Serendipity indeed! I was just looking at the enormous rustic loaf I'd inadvertently ordered online instead of my normal sized one, thinking how to use it up before it went stale, and my mind turned to bread and butter pudding which I haven't made for ages.

Then I opened up Mumsnet and saw this! Genius and I know everyone will like it.
