Has anyone got the new I Watch?

I had one before but wasn’t a fan of having to charge it every night - I know that hasn’t changed. I also had a fitbit charge 2.

I now want something I can swim with. I think the charge 3 will be fine for what I want it for. Also 7 day charge period which is a big thumbs up for me.

Not sure whether I should think about the I watch again. If you have got a 4th gen watch what do you love about it.

I've got the Apple 2 watch, and I can swim with it. DH has the Apple 1, but bought a special cover for it so he can swim with it too. My colleague has the 4, main difference seems to be size (slightly flatter).

I used to have a Fitbit Alta, but find the Apple Watch a bit more accurate. I like the range of exercises it offers (was delighted when doing a Les Mills Barre class to see it listed!). I like the new competition with friends (not compatible with the Series 1 watch though). I like the monthly challenges, and other random challenges throughout the year. I like the notifications. I like the Apple Pay. I like being able to reply to text messages using my watch.

But it's very expensive - mine comes via my health insurance - if I do a certain amount of exercise every month, I don't have to pay. It's over a 2 year period. So far I've had to contribute £5 (nasty cold meant I was out of the game for a good week), and I'm a year into the contract.
