Trampolines - benefits v. dangers

We're thinking of buying a trampoline for the garden. If you have one, would you recommend one? What benefits have your child/children gained from having one? Have you experienced any injuries?

Sigma my son broke his leg falling off a scooter actually! Accidents definitely do happen, but the nurses in the hospital said the majority of their broken leg cases in children are from trampolines, broken necks and backs too.

I said no to DD (9yo, but asked last year for one). Basically because there would be only one child on at a time and I didn't want the arguments or when friends come around, having one child waiting around while the other bounced. DS would be a handful too and would just want to go on regardless of DD being on it.

We got a climbing frame instead. Everyone can go on it at the same time and although there's a risk of injury it's not as bad as a trampoline.
