Mould mites - what can I do?

Posting here for traffice.

We have a patch of damp and suddenly everything is covered in little mould mites. Tiny little dot things.

(I am away but DH has told me).

How can I get rid of them? Has anyone had anything similar?

I would love some help or advice as the council said they didn't deal with them...

What are they on? Windowsill etc then soak cotton wool in bleach and leave on overnight. Walls, a good bleach scrub then anti mould paint if necessary.

Where's the damp coming from? Do you need to heat and air the house more?

We are sorting the damp with builders coming this week. They are in the chest of drawers next to damp wall.
