So that dd2 can keep it on for tomorrow?

There’s an amazing make up stay spray but not something that’s easy to get unless you have a local friend with some?

BigApple11 · 25/10/2018 18:36

Hairspray?

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/10/2018 18:38

I'd say hair spray too.

lucysmam · 25/10/2018 18:41

Daisy no, I don't think so. Hairspray seems like it might be worth a go!

Hang on, what? You’re going to spray your DC’s face with hairspray? Is that safe?

Blue25654 · 25/10/2018 19:51

I would try a make up setter. certainly wouldn’t be spraying anyones face with hairspray.

Sitranced · 25/10/2018 19:52

Do not spray hairspray on the face.

mikapatika · 25/10/2018 20:03

Car paint like kenny in Phoenix Nights?

MVLipwig · 25/10/2018 20:05

I regularly use hairspray to set makeup, it’s absolutely fine. Just use lots of it (assuming DC doesn’t have very sensitive skin and since they already have it painted I doubt that) and put on pillow cases you aren’t fond of just in case

NoSquirrels · 25/10/2018 20:05

Why? Can’t you just do it again tomorrow?

I think apart from anything else it would be terrifically bad for the skin. It’s not like regular make up.

Mouthfulofquiz · 25/10/2018 20:08

I absolutely would not leave face paint on overnight. It makes my ds’ Skin and eyes very sore. It will run into her eyes if she rubs them in the night.

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/10/2018 20:08

A light spray of hair spray as a one off won't do any damage.

LittleBearPad · 25/10/2018 20:09

Its going to make a hell of a mess on her pillow.

Face paint isn’t meant to last overnight.

lucysmam · 25/10/2018 20:17

Mouthful it's a little pumpkin on her cheek, not a whole face! No way would I be thinking about leaving a whole face on overnight.

She decided she couldn't be bothered to try and keep it so it's off & we'll see about doing it again in the morning.

MN gets hysterical over some daft things.
Glad you've sorted it LucysMam

PoptartPoptart · 25/10/2018 23:24

No one is getting hysterical.
The op asked a question and others replied with their opinions.
That’s not hysteria, it’s a conversation.
