I had the Mirena fitted in July 17. It’s my first & I had it fitted because of heavy periods every 3 weeks. I’m 47.
It took about 6-8 months to really settle down but eventually my periods did become much lighter than before.
In the last 6 weeks I’ve been bleeding every 10 days or so with no warning.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
