Sainsburys no delivery slots showing

I normally order my weekly shop on a Friday night. Been trying to do it but no matter which date I select from the drop down no slots are showing.

I don't believe they're all booked!

But can't get through on bloody phone either. Anyone else having problems?

Absolute nightmare!

Delivery slot seemed to work. So set to doing order. Site jumpy as hell. Tried to "place order" but it's not working apparently. Jumpy there too and now I'm worried.

Wtf! So annoying!

I bloody hate Sainsbury’s for this. We had so many problems with their app stability for just placing basic orders like this and the website wasn’t a failsafe, either. Our delivery pass with them came to an end so we took the Nectar points loss and went back to Tesco and Ocado, whose passes were cheaper and UX ten zillion times better (we sadly don’t use Ocado primarily these days but they do do some brilliant offers).

Defect to Tesco and get clubcard points. I've always found their app the easiest by far.

Ocado app is much better and now I never get 5kg of bananas by accident.

I'm not on the app I'm on website!

Have had to essentially had to place order by phone! But first call handler cut me off!!

Then the next call handler said they weren't aware of any issues and he actually went and checked on that. I find it hard to believe I'm the ONLY person who's complained/flagged this!

Didn't know there WAS an app - maybe that will work? Or at least give me another option in future?

What WAS a bit worrying was they had 2 bank cards on my account BUT one of them was a type of card I've NEVER had!!

Ok well looking at app they've got Halloween images going on inc a spinning pumpkin timer.

I can't help but wonder if it's when they fart around with stuff like that it messes up the NECESSITIES.

And seriously does any customer REALLY want that stuff done if it's going to mean you can't use the site/app?

I had this last week. On Wednesday evening there were no slots showing for Friday or Saturday which never usually happens. And I think it was last week too that all the login screens were throwing and odd error. Using an incognito tab was the only way I could get in.

Did any of you complain to sainsburys?

I've now downloaded the app, maybe try using it next week. Daren't touch
this weeks order now!!

Very annoying to lose my preferred delivery slot as a result!

Can I ask, how far in advance can you book and keep a slot? Also how far in advance are the Christmas slots usually available?

Am I right in thinking to keep a slot more than a couple hours need to have a basket of shopping checked out?

I'm rubbish at this stuff!

Yes that's right Graphista. I often pick an expensive item like alcohol, to reach the £25 limit and checkout to hold the slot. Then you can alter the order up till 11pm the day before delivery.

Yes. When they release the Xmas slots I stick some wine in and checkout to book it and do my shop nearer the time.

I haven't complained to them about the random Web site issues as I usually cba or it is too late.

I get not everyone complaining as its a pita BUT I find it hard to believe I'm the ONLY one that's complained.

Thanks for the Christmas and advance booking tips. There are items we buy every week which would easily take me to the £25 limit. Then the rest varies.

My appetite has been off lately and my cpn suggested varying my options might stimulate. So I'm trying to make the effort there.
