What time to have make up done

Booking a make up artist for an event next weekend which starts at 5pm. Which time would be best to have make up done? Would 11am be too early?

Are you getting hair done too? Allow an hour for professional make up plus travel time. Same for hair. 11am sounds like it’d be ok, I wouldn’t go any earlier than that though.
