Help - 1 positive pregnancy test result and 4 negative

Hi, wondering if someone can help me please. I’ve now done 5 pregnancy tests, and only the 2nd one came out positive. (The first I wasn’t sure about). The line was faint, but definitely there. But the others have all been negative. I’m really confused, don’t know if I’m testing too early.

I have irregular periods, so not sure when I’m next due, but it’s been 24 days since sex. I don’t know if this is too early because i’m new to this. I don’t know what to do as I would need to stop my medication if pregnant, so therefore need to know asap so as not to harm the baby. Thank you in advance

Were the tests all the same? I heard some have been recalled for giving faulse positives, I think it was only digital ones but I would check your brand

Hi, thanks for replying. I’ve tried 3 different tests now. It was the boots own that gave me positive, clear blue digital gave me 2 negatives and first response gave me negative (but that was this evening, so i’ve got another first response one for tomorrow’s FMU. I really don’t know if I’m testing too early, i’ve never been pregnant before

The boots is a blue dye I think. They are notorious for false positives try with a First Response. Pink dye and very accurate. I hope you get your + and feel free to come back if you need support

Very normal for clear blue digital to give you a negative if you’re very early on- they require more HCG than the cheapies to show a positive result. I only used a boots own brand, it didn’t occur to me to retest, and DD is now 1 so it was obviously accurate for me. Test again first thing tomorrow with the first response and 🤞

So I tested as soon as I woke up this morning with first response, and go a negative. Should I assume I’m not pregnant? I guess I’ll probably test again in a few days, just in case. I’m getting some symptoms, but now i’m wondering if i’m Imagining it.

Wait a few days. Try and relax OP. Good luck. You can post test pics if you think there is a line, a lot of people on here do for 2nd opinions

First response are very good. I'd assume not pregnant tbh.
