Just seen it on a cable channel. 1988 was my time but I'd never heard this song before. What a pile of poo. Is this the worst song ever? And if not, what is?

No, the worst song ever is Duran Duran's cover of Public Enemy's "911 Is A Joke". To be fair, the original is fine, so this may not qualify. But this version is the song most likely to make you cringe your insides out. If you're feeling brave:

No it’s Loverboy by Mariah Carey. No discernible tune, can’t work out the lyrics. It’s just a load of noises and her breathing a lot!

Graham Norton has a feature like this on a Saturday morning, you will definitely hear worse than this without waiting too long.

That’s reminded me of an art project we had to do at primary school where we had to design and paint a pub sign.

Being a Bros fan my pub was called The Cat among the Pigeons

It was bloody brilliant, nearly as good as Matt warbling to Silent Night whilst Craig and Luke lurked in the background.

At least it had a melody. Pretty sure there are many worse songs.... Like anything by Simply Red or The Blow Monkeys
